Thankful Thursday - Prayer

Thankful Thursday Meme

I'm thankful that the Lord has been teaching me about prayer this year. I'm thankful that He urges me to pray. I'm thankful that my faith in Him has been growing as I turn more to prayer instead of fear.

Today, May 1st, is the National Day of Prayer. There is power in prayer. Our prayers to God can change the course of history.

Today, I am going to pray:
  • that my husband and kids will grow closer to the Lord
  • that God will show us His will
  • that God will strengthen our marriage
  • that God will bring the perfect pastor to our church
  • that our church will grow in fellowship with each other
  • that our church will reach out to help and witness to the community
What are you going to pray for?

I am joining you to pray for my husband, my children, my country, the military, our future president, and direction about our future as a family. Thanks for the reminder.

*Hugs* That's wonderful! And so true the things that we need to pray for!

To our God
For our Spouses
Our Family
Our churches
Our community
the Men and women who sacrifice their lives to defend our country and the principles of freedom

Some of the other things that I'm praying for is that God keeps me humble, and learn always in humility of my service to Him and to others; and to guard forever my tongue, my heart and my soul and just thankful of the greatest gift He gave to the World, His Son.
