Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for Jen at One Mom's World for starting Operation Spring Weight Off for Moms. This is probably the motivation that I need. If you want to, you can still join in.

I am thankful for the nice phone conversation that I had with my sister. I'm thankful that she is doing well, since she is 4 months pregnant. She has had complications with her other pregnancies, so I'm thankful that God is watching over her and her baby. If you have a sister - why not give her a call.

I am thankful for all you wonderful blogging women that leave such nice, encouraging comments. You women are really neat and I love reading your posts and following along as you grow closer to Jesus.

I am thankful for my daughter Boo Boo who turned 8 this week.

I am thankful for my daughter Nettie who turned 11 this week.

Wow - two birthday girls in one week. I can guess that you are having a huge celebration at your house this week.
I am so glad to read that your sister is doing well with her pregnancy. Thank you for the reminder - I will try to get a hold my sister this weekend.

Thank you for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

Blessings to you and your precious family this blessed Thursday.

It's been a busy birthday week for your family it seems.
That is good to know about your sister.

Mine too had major complications with her pregancies and she lost her first child and had issues with the other times. Thankfully, she now has three children...one is a set of twins that are 17 now a boy and a girl...and the girl is driving her batty with rebellion right now. Amazing how you fight for their lives and for them to be born then they rebel when they get older. If they only realized how much was gone through for their sakes....even now.
I hate that. My sister needs prayer and so does my niece.
See ya,
Joyce

What a sweet TT post. I'm so VERY THANKFUL for my sister too. She's been my best friend since we were little girls. (Only, I didn't recognize that until we were both married and living under different roofs)

I thought it was pretty neat that you call your daughter "BooBoo." I used to call Brent that and then it shortened to "Boo." I sometimes call the other two boys "BooBoo" as well - just not shortened thiers. I'm keeping that one just for Brent! ;-)

Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughters!

LOVE YOU!

Shari,
I love reading your posts! I also love that you illustrate your posts with pictures. Is that you at the computer? I need to have Brian (hubby) take more pictures of me- I am always the one on the other side of the camera.

I am thankful for my 11 year old today, too (well, everyday, of course- but I blogged about him on TT today!). We had a birthday this week- Aaron (the Chuck E. Cheese pouty face), two weeks ago (Abigail- 1) and Andrew's is the
23rd of April. Hmmmm..... What does that tell you???
Aly's birthday is August and Ashley is our "Christmas baby"- Dec. 21st.

Blessings, Shari!

Boy, do I know what you mean about the tooth fairy adding up with 5 kids!

I laughed when you said you don't have your pic. taken! I RELATE!!! I am always on the other side of the camera. I turned 40 in January and got my very long hair cut and colored back to my natural, dark color. One of my bloggy friends has been asking me to post a pic since January and I have to honestly tell her I don't have one! I have a few family pics, but you can't see my hair in them. Brian took a close up of me on Easter and that was the 1st pic I deleted!!!!!!

Blessings, friend!
