How has God shown Himself to me this week?
My husband has gone out of town a lot this winter, due to his work. On this current trip he will be gone for 3 weeks, again. I'm only a week into it, but yesterday I got feeling really sorry for myself. I felt so down that I just knew I wouldn't be able to come up with a God Stop moment for Friday. I'm lonely, stuck at home for 3 weeks without a vehicle, and no one even seems to care.
This is how God showed Himself to me today (all of this in one day):
- The mail lady sent her husband over to plow our driveway. (when she drove by and noticed that I was trying to shovel all that snow)
- Then, her husband told me to call if I need a ride to the grocery store or if an emergency comes up.
- A nice man, from church, sent (by mail) my children animal T-shirts and a note saying that he missed all of us guys and gals.
- Grandma and Grandpa H. sent (by mail) a DVD and 2 card games to entertain us while Dad is gone.
- Grandma and Grandpa G. sent (by mail) Birthday gifts to my son.
- I got 2 personal emails from new blogging friends.
Come see what the Lord has done, how awesome his works in man's behalf! Psalm 66:5

Bless you dear one, God loves you very much.
Isn't that just like God?!! Being a single mom I know the frustrations of trying to do work around the house that is difficult and needing help and I praising God with you that He sent a man to shovel your driveway!
I love getting surprises in the mail! How sweet of your family. These are GREAT GodStops! I am praying that the rest of the time will fly by for you and that God will continue to surprise you with something every week until your husband gets home!
I am so glad you are doing GodStop Friday with us and your blog is so cute. Praying for you!
Blessings,
Patty
Well...I have found me a new friend through Patty's Godstops!!
God is faithful and He does care about every detail of our life!!
I'm praying for you today to be filled with peace and joy and most of all His presence in your heart.
Hugs and blessings from TN!

Bless your heart. I'd be over at your house every day with my hands to help. I hope that today is a better day for you. It's amazing how we see God's hands in even the littlest things, right? The scriptures teach us "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass." Truer words were never spoken, especially for us moms. :)
Wow, you are blessed! The mom's brunch was fun and no kids thanks for asking!
Liked your post today Shari. I'm sitting at home with a little bit of cabin fever today. The kids and I have been stuck at home for almost two weeks because of the snow. I needed to be reminded that the best way to get out of my rut is to think of others and maybe try to think of a way I can do something nice for someone else!
Praise Him for knowing what we need and providing it at exactly the right time!
Those are some wonderful blessings. Sometimes it's the little things like that to make the heart smile. Thanks for sharing them.
Hi!
I am so sorry you are stuck, but I am so thankful that God has been blessing you so much! I just love Him!
Thanks so much for coming by my place the other day! And thank you for sharing about His faithfulness!
Blessings,
Kimberly :)
How great is that! Wonderful moments that God gave you! May you continue to see these moments in the next 2 weeks too!
I love it when God does stuff like to make me feel special and loved. I'm really happy that you got to experience that from Him this week and I pray He does stuff like that for you for the next 2 weeks as well! :o)
Sorry you have been so "Cooped up" that would give me cabin fever as well.....it always seems that we are put into "situations" that help us to understand others in those exact same situations. Otherwise we might not get it.
I know that happens to me and is happening even right now....it's all good though.
Be blessed.
what detailed precious moments you've shared...and thank you for the comments you gave me---they really meant something to me
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog. Thank you also, for reminding me today, that even doing something small - like sending an unexpected e-mail - God can use to brighten someone's day.
May you enjoy and know His presence with you while your husband is away.
Blessings,
Joy
God never fails to bring us just what we need when we need it.
Those are wonderful God STOPS!
May He continue to surprise and delight you :)
Blessings,
Kim
